Turning an industrial recycler into a name people — and businesses — recognise.
KGS did the essential, invisible work of industrial recycling — but had little recognition beyond its immediate industry. The challenge was to grow it into a brand that both consumers and B2B buyers could recall and trust.
I built the brand across every channel that mattered: a clear digital home, always-on social, awareness campaigns, conference stages, earned media, and strategic partnerships.
Recognition is built channel by channel — then compounded through partnerships.
I positioned KGS as a credible authority: speaking at conferences, earning media coverage, and pursuing SEO and influencer campaigns to widen discovery. Partnerships with StarHub and government bodies gave the brand institutional weight, while community outreach kept it grounded in the people it served. The result was a 20–30% lift in B2B growth and a brand that finally matched the importance of the work.
Beyond the brand, KGS put the circular economy to work for people — donating refurbished technology and running community recycling that widened access to education.
